Jessies a LOVELY woman

This photo is for all the little girls and boys out there who were told they were ugly and disgusting when they were at school. Who were told they had cooties or ugly germs and the other kids wouldn't sit next to them because the other kids didn't want to catch 'it'.

From primary school through to high school I was always picked on for being ugly and all the boys would cringe and go ew whilst the girls laughed and pointed. I still feel a little self conscious... but cosplay's made me feel much more happier within myself.

So I want everyone who has been told they're ugly or gross or disgusting to put those words behind them, no matter how hard that maybe, close their eyes and think to themselves about a part of themselves they like. What part of them is beautiful, cute or pretty. To think to themselves: I'm beautiful.

Cause I can guarantee you, the people calling you ugly... they're just insecure about themselves and are taking it out on you to make themselves feel better.

You may not automatically feel better about yourself, it's taken me years to show off my body without fearing being called fat and to have my hair pulled up in a ponytail off my face without fearing being laughed at for my 'ugly face'. I may still not think I'm beautiful or pretty, but I'm happy with the way I am and I'm confident enough to dress any way I want... and I just want others to feel the same~ to be happy with themselves and they way they look~

So do as Jessie does, think highly of yourself, love yourself, and steal a pikachu! XDDDD
